This experience was unforgettable. The guys that took us on our tour were super fun and friendly. Me and my family were there for my cousins wedding so we had about 30 members and they were so organized and were really there to show us the best. From the moment we left to the mini coffee shop along the way to the water falls to the end, every moment was PERFECT! I can not wait to go back. That experience was hands down the best I could have asked for and definitely UNFORGETTABLE !!! I can not thank my cousin Matt and all the members that took us out that day through the mountains. It was so beautiful and breath taking. Now, riding those quads was SO MUCH FUN !!!! I felt invincible, and literally felt like i was on top of the world. One of the best days we’ve had on our Costa Rica tour. The guides take you to the highest points over Uvita, with extensive stunning views into the interior and out to sea.
On the tour we stopped at a local coffee plantation, for a very brief run through the whole process of coffee making. Don’t expect high tech industrial. These are local coffee growers that produce small quantities of coffee for the local market and for tourists that stop by. The tour then moved on to further reaches of the mountains and stopped at the local waterfalls where everyone could go for a swim.
One tip. If the weather is dry, you’re going to get covered in dust, but it only adds to the fun. Definitely one of the best days outs in Uvita.
I have taken 3 different ATV tours a round the area. This is the best. It is worth the drive from Quepos if you are there as the mountain route is beautiful and much more fun. Don’t forget you money to buy coffee to take home from the coffee plantation. The guides are excellent and make sure you are having a good time.
Four friends, all over the age of 60, and this was the best day of our trip. Beautiful mountains, a great coffee plantation, and the guys could not have been more attentive and safe. LOVED IT!
